Palm Beach County is making funds available to Developers for the creation of Affordable Housing units to expand the local inventory of Multifamily Rental Housing Units for Housing to serve households with incomes no greater than 80 % of Area Median Income. Full details are contained in the RFP.

To obtain a copy of RFP HED.HBLP.2024.5, complete the RFP registration form located here: Registration Form HED.HBLP.2024.5​​. A non-mandatory pre-submittal workshop will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 9:30 am via Zoom – access information is provided in the RFP document. The deadline for submittal of proposals in response to the RFP is Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 4:00 pm.

Palm Beach County's Department of Housing and Economic Development (DHED) is soliciting proposals from Community Housing Development Organization (CHDOs) or eligible CHDOs that have applied and are certified by the County prior to the submittal deadline. The HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds are to provide financial assistance to CHDOs for the creation of affordable rental or homeownership housing through new construction or acquisition and/or rehabilitation of residential property. This RFP will make available $2,454,364.67 for CHDO Program Activities and up to $484,355.48 for CHDO Operating Funds.  Full details are contained in the RFP Package.

To obtain a copy of RFP HED.2024.1, complete the RFP registration form located HERE.  A non-mandatory presubmittal workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11:00a.m. via the WebEx software platform – access information is provided in the RFP document.  The deadline for submittal of proposals in response to the RFP is March 27, 2024 at 4:00pm.

The public is being notified that the Miami-Dade County Draft F.Y. 2023 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG).

Programs will be available for review and comment from March 11, 2024 through March 27, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Miami-Dade Department of Public Housing and Community Development, located at 701 N.W. 1st Court, 16th Floor, Miami, Florida 33136.

​Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development (DHED) held a public meeting to gather stakeholder input on the FY 2024-2025 Action Plan, inclusive of the Community Development Block Grant, Emergency Solutions Grant, and HOME Investment Partnership Programs.  The Action Plan serves as Palm Beach County's application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the above programs.  The public meeting was held as follows:
